Information We Collect
We collect two categories of information: information you provide directly and information collected automatically.
Automatically collected information may include:
- Device identifiers (advertising ID, device model, OS version)
- App usage data (screens visited, features used, session duration)
- Crash and performance diagnostics (error logs, stack traces)
- Approximate location (country/region level, derived from IP address)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks — collected by ad partners)
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials, as Spellyx does not require user registration.
How We Use Your Data
The information we collect is used solely to operate, maintain, and improve Spellyx:
- Serving and personalising advertisements through Google AdMob
- Monitoring app stability and fixing crashes via Firebase Crashlytics
- Understanding how users interact with features (Firebase Analytics)
- Delivering remote configuration updates (Firebase Remote Config)
- Sending optional local notifications (push reminders you can disable)
We do not use your data to build individual user profiles for sale, or to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Advertising & Consent (GDPR / EEA)
Spellyx displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. These ads may be personalised based on your interests if you grant consent, or non-personalised if you do not.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before serving personalised ads. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the app's Settings → Privacy & Ads menu.
Ads may use cookies and similar technologies on supported platforms. For more information on how Google uses advertising data, visit policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
Data Retention & Storage
Game progress, settings, and preferences are stored locally on your device only. We do not maintain a server-side database of personal user records.
Analytics and crash data collected by Firebase are retained in accordance with Google's default retention policies (typically 14 months for analytics events). You may request deletion as described in Section 6.
Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data from your device.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access — request a copy of data we hold about you
- Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
- Right to restriction — request that we limit processing of your data
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
- Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent for personalised ads at any time in Settings

Children's Privacy
Spellyx is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal data to us, please contact us immediately at ocopur@yahoo.com and we will take steps to delete such information.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
Continued use of Spellyx after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
